I have just found your blog. It is awesome. This is my first year in the public school. I have previously taught for 5 years at Head Start in South GA. I gratuated in May with my Masters in Special Education but am certified to teach Regular Ed Pre-K-5 or Special Edcuation with reading as my content area.
ANYWAY—I love your sight. I only wish I had found you at the beginning of our year (Aug. 7th).
Great site…surfing a found you out there. Could be tell me how to access your inquiry based lesson on your page. Wondering if you had some for other to see.

Hi Kristen! WOW!! You have put a TON of work into this site! I mean we all know know how much teachers do on their own, but this is amazing to put it all on a site for others to have as well.
I’m a speech therapist and currently I have an early childhood speech classroom (think early childhood sped but speech only) so I’ve been able to use quite a few of your ideas! Thanks so much and hope you have a great week!

I loved your comment (Kinder Korner groups 3/7)about full day kindergarten!! After doing this (half-day kindergarten) for 25 + years, I would to be doing full day.
Anyway, have you located the Penny graph you did with your kids back in Feb? If you don’t mind sharing, I would greatly appreciate it for one of my Work Station acitvities.

I have tried to send you 2 other emails, but I seem to be doing it wrong???? I hope you get this one. I am planning on doing the Christmas aroundt he world theme and have viewed your wonderful ideas. There are some holes that I would like to fill in….can you chare the link tor the project you did for Brazil? There was another hole I wanted to fill, but can’t remember right now

Basically, we used a toucan and painted it with water colors and then brushed it lightly with oil (vegetable oil). Messy, it can be skipped too, but it gives them a shine. 
I wish I had something to send you but I cannot find my toucan that we made. Maybe I’ll come across it when unpacking for this year’s GBM theme.
